Is the Bible truly God’s Word?
How can we know that the Bible is the Word of God and not just a good book?
What is unique about the Bible that sets it apart from all other religiousbooks ever written?
Is there any evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word?
However, Christianity is not a blind faith (something people believe without any evidence to support it). It is the only religion that can prove itself, and a main source of that proof is the Bible.
The internal and external evidences that the Bible is God’s Word:

1) Historicity of the Bible.- truthful & accurate in its details & historical events – verified & supported by archaeological evidence

| 2) The prophecies (future predictions) it are very detailed & always fulfilled- There are 332 prophecies fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The mathematical probability that all of these could be fulfilled in one person by sheer chance alone has been calculated to be the number 84 followed by 123 zeros.Examples:· Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12; Matthew 26:14-15). · He was wounded and bruised (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 27:12-14). · He was crucified with thieves (Isaiah. 53:12; Mark. 15:27,28). |
